John Cena on Smackdown tapings

– John Cena has been added to Tuesday night’s SmackDown taping in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Cena is being advertised for a main event dark match against Big Show.

WWE is also adding Cena to other SmackDown tapings, primarily to boost ticket sales. He is advertised for the lead-in taping to No Way Out in two weeks as well as the taping after the PPV and next two after that, one of which is the next live SmackDown on July 3rd.

WWE.com article: Title reign length or reign count: What's more impressive?

What is the barometer of greatness for a champion in WWE? Some argue that it's how many title reigns you can rack up, which proves your staying power in the championship picture for a long period of time. Others say it's the quality, not the quantity of a reign that matters; that keeping the title around your waist for months upon months (or possibly years) is the way to be remembered as a dominant champion.

While a strong case can be made on either side of this debate, WWE.com wants to know for sure: What is the true test of a champion's greatness?

Now that WWE Champion CM Punk's reign has stretched to WWE's longest in four years, it's an opportune time to lay out all of the talking points in an attempt to settle the score. Who better to lend opinions on the matter than WWE Superstars who have all risen to championship glory?

In this WWE.com exclusive, find out what John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Christian, The Miz and Booker T think as we present compelling viewpoints for reign length and reign count. Once you've read both arguments, cast your vote in WWE.com's poll and let your voice be heard.

Here’s the dirty little secret about being a 10-time champion: you had to win the title 10 times.

It’s a nasty technicality that rarely goes mentioned when discussing multiple title reigns – and by the way, we’re pretty sure the total number of WWE.com championship reigns tops out at zero – but the fact remains that a Superstar who holds his title for a longer period of time was, quite frankly, less susceptible to defeat than one who had to fight tooth and nail to claim the prize time and time again. It takes a special Superstar to win a championship, to be sure, but there’s something to be said for the perseverance, skill or cleverness of one who won the title and kept it for a long reign.

“I think it's been proven that anybody can win a title given the right circumstances,” Daniel Bryan told WWE.com. “But whether you keep that title, that's the mark of a true champion.” Bryan held the World Heavyweight Championship for four months, and has recently been in the mix for CM Punk’s WWE Title, although he has yet to claim that title for himself.

It’s fair to mention that WWE’s “Yes!” man might be postulating just a bit, given the opportunistic methods with which he both won and retained the World Title. But there’s something to be said for a champion’s resilience, as well as the value of adapting to different situations.

The three longest World Title reigns in WWE history belong to three infamously ruthless Superstars – Batista, Triple H and Kane – known for pursuing victory by any means necessary. In that same vein, while some may call Bryan’s Steel Cage victory over Mark Henry and Big Show at the 2012 Royal Rumble – via escape rather than pinfall – the “coward’s way out,” it’s equally valid to say it was his best opportunity to remain at the mountaintop. And a champion, above all things, must keep his title safe.

John Cena, who has straddled both sides of the issue himself (he’s a 10-time WWE Champion, with several long reigns to his name), also sided firmly with the importance of a longer run at the top. “Having a longer title reign means you [competed at a top level] for a longer period of time,” Cena said.

There’s also the issue of standing tall in the face of repeated challenges for the championship. After all, everyone’s always trying to take down the top dog.

“When you have a title, you have a target on your back,” The Miz told WWE.com of the pressures of a championship. The Awesome One is certainly qualified to speak on long reigns; he holds the second-longest U.S. Championship reign since the title came to WWE, and he has the second-longest WWE Title reign of the last four years at, by his count, 160 days (current champ CM Punk has the first).

And it’s safe to say that, despite his recent woes, Miz isn’t looking for several quickie runs at the top when he makes his way back into the championship picture. The Awesome One wants respect, and he’ll earn it with the longer he holds the ultimate prize.

“It's more respectable to have longer reigns,” he said. “If you have it 50 times, that means you've lost the title 50 times. Congratulations. I've only lost the WWE Title once. But when I get it back, I won't ever lose it again.”

While lengthy championship reigns are certainly impressive, the true mark of greatness in WWE could lie with Superstars who have withstood the test of time and amassed a number of different titles over the course of their careers. Literally worn as badges of honor, championships collected by Superstars serve as “notches in their belts” — physical representations of battles fought and won.

Having a multitude of title reigns demonstrates that a Superstar is capable of dominance in a variety of situations over many years and proven in arguably the most crucial quality when discussing the greatest competitors in any sport — longevity.

Holding numerous titles is synonymous with durability and endurance, helping to solidify a Superstar’s relevance through generations and cement his place in WWE lore. Sure, long title reigns are a signifier of one’s ability at a particular moment in time, but does anyone really care about the one-time NFL rushing leader, or the plethora of Major League Baseball players who had that one great year and hit 40 home runs?

No, true fans remember players like Emmitt Smith, the Hall of Fame running back for the Dallas Cowboys who racked up four NFL rushing titles in his career, and MLB Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, who averaged 33 home runs over the course of his 23-year career.

While flashes can be appealing in any competitive environment, the true legends are those who manage to produce year after year on the big stage.

“Winning one [title] is great for your career as you put yourself in the history books with all the great champions,” five-time WCW Champion Booker T says, “But if you win multiple championships, it goes to one’s character as far as what he puts into the business.”

WWE Universe members hold Superstars like Ric Flair and John Cena in the highest regard because of the sheer number of times they held championship gold. Their multiple reigns span decades and endear both Superstars to WWE Universe members in different generations.

“The Nature Boy” accrued 16 World Heavyweight Championships during his illustrious career and held titles in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, ensuring that fathers and sons could share memories of “The Dirtiest Player in the Game” at the top of his game.

Likewise, John Cena has held the WWE Championship 10 times, a staggering statistic that gives the Cenation leader the distinct honor of holding that illustrious title more times than anyone else in WWE history.

“It’s easy to lose it,” Booker T added, “But to go back and gain it five times showed how hungry I was and how badly I really wanted to be on top as that franchise player for the company. That’s why I respect guys like John Cena.”

To that point, with 31 championship reigns to his name, Edge is one of the greatest performers the squared circle has ever known. One of just three Superstars to hold every active WWE prize — Kurt Angle and Big Show being the other two — it was prophetic when The Rated-R Superstar was voted “Most Likely to Be WWE Champion” back in high school. Perhaps it should have been, “Most Likely to Rack up Titles.”

Edge’s list of accolades includes four separate reigns as WWE Champion, seven as World Heavyweight Champion, five as Intercontinental Champion, and a staggering total of 14 tag titles, clearly showing that the WWE Hall of Famer possessed the ability to succeed in whatever he did inside the squared circle.

Edge’s best friend and the current Intercontinental Champion, Christian, says of multiple title reigns, “It’s a real sense of accomplishment, especially for guys who grew up as fans in awe of champions and who pretended to be champions and made their own titles when they were kids. To actually grow up and win those titles and to hold them means a lot.”

There’s no disputing that any title reign is worthy of the utmost respect, but a Superstar’s true meddle is earned through holding multiple titles and proving that they can endure through time.

3 John Cena

At WWE Over the Limit, John Cena was poised to end John Laurinaitis’ run at the helm of Raw and SmackDown. But in a stunning move, Big Show emerged to thwart the best laid plans. If Cena can’t stop the Laurinaitis train from rolling on, who can?

WWE No Way Out 2012 preview

John Cena vs. Big Show

As the saying goes, desperate times call for desperate measures, and it’s hard to argue that Big Show was anything other than desperate when he jumped ship to People Power and allowed John Laurinaitis to save his own job a mere six days after Big Johnny callously terminated the giant on Raw SuperShow.

Big Show’s appearance at WWE Over the Limit was meant to herald the death bell for Laurinaitis’ much-maligned movement, but the giant planted his signature WMD against the face of John Cena instead, helping Mr. Excitement retain his job and keep People Power chugging along. (WATCH: BIG SHOW & SUPERSTARS REACT) And with The World’s Largest Athlete reinstated by a grateful Laurinaitis and Cena looking to settle the score, it’s only right that the two should face off one-on-one at No Way Out.

Cena and Big Show have, it should be noted, a more contentious history than the WWE Universe might remember. The giant famously chokeslammed Cena through a spotlight at Backlash 2009 (WATCH), and The World’s Largest Athlete clashed with The Cenation Leader over the United States Championship at WrestleMania XX (Cena won that contest, relieving the giant of the title). Big Show had worked prior to Over the Limit at keeping the WWE Universe in his good graces, but as the giant announced on Raw SuperShow the night after Over the Limit, he seems to feel his efforts have been unreciprocated.

Show claimed that Cena and the WWE Universe were not qualified to judge him, and his decision was made for love of the business and the security of his new, "ironclad" contract. He did what he had to do, despite the steepness of the price.

The price may yet get steeper, though. With Cena’s nemesis still running the show, and with a 7-foot wrecking ball at his disposal to boot, Cena is looking to make Show answer for his actions. After all, as the other saying goes, what goes around comes around, and The World’s Largest Athlete might well find it’s time to pay the piper when he meets Cena one-on-one.

John Cena called out Big Show; match made for No Way Out
One look at John Cena's face and you could tell this is a dark day for the Cenation leader. Cena opened the show in a state of rage and frustration over his loss to Laurinaitis at WWE Over the Limit. Cena, although clearly embarrassed by the defeat, fired back at his doubters who wondered why Cena took his time humiliating the General Manager during their contest. Cena then called out Big Show, claiming he sold out by coming to Laurinaitis' aid and ruined the prime opportunity to get Laurinaitis terminated. (PHOTOS | VIDEO)
Executive Administrator Eve interrupted the Cenation leader to introduce Laurinaitis, who sputtered out onto the stage aboard a "People Power" scooter (perhaps we'll see that sold on an infomercial soon?). The GM cited his potential serious injuries that he sustained during his match against Cena and reminded WWE Superstars that they risk immediate termination if they lay a finger on him moving forward. Laurinaitis then announced that Cena will face the rehired Big Show at the No Way Out pay-per-view on June 17! (MATCH PREVIEW)
The World's Largest Athlete refused to apologize for his actions at WWE Over the Limit and said he "did what he had to do" while the crowd chanted, "You're a sellout!" Big Show angrily shouted at Cena for judging him and threatened to knock him out at No Way Out. As Big Show stormed off, David Otunga came out and challenged Cena to a match and dedicated the one-on-one contest to Laurinaitis.

John Cena defeated Daid Otunga
With his boss watching on, David Otunga tried his best to impress against John Cena. But Laurinaitis' legal counsel quickly found himself overmatched and tapped out to the STF. Right after the bell rang, chaos erupted as numerous Superstars rushed to the ring and ganged up on Cena. As the Cenation leader struggled to fight back, Sheamus rushed out to back up Cena. As The Great White cleaned house, Laurinaitis announced that the main event would be Raw's first-ever 2-on-3 Handicap Lumberjack Match, with Cena and Sheamus joining forces to face three opponents of the GM's choosing. Power 25 [May 19,2012]

1 John Cena
Heading into Over the Limit, the Cenation Leader has John Laurinaitis right where he wants him. Cena’s health and swagger are back and the match stipulations announced on Raw effectively gave Laurinaitis little more than a puncher’s chance at retaining his role as the General Manager of Raw and SmackDown.
So why did Cena look so upset when "Mr. Excitement" slapped him into silence on Raw? For Cena to win, he’ll need to prevent Laurinaitis from getting under his skin like that again.

WWE Over the Limit 2012 results - May 20,2012

John Laurinaitis def. John Cena

RALEIGH, N.C. — John Laurinatis was done for.

Beaten and battered by an intensely focused John Cena in a match where the megalomaniacal General Manager’s career was on the line, Mr. Laurinaitis was only a three count away from finding himself on the unemployment line. And then something big happened.

Shocking the WWE fans crammed into Raleigh’s PNC Arena, the mighty Big Show stormed into the ring and aided the man who fired him on Monday night in a way the WWE Universe never expected to see.

Had The World’s Largest Athlete not changed the clear outcome of this bout, the landscape of WWE would look a lot different right now. A polarizing figure since he grasped complete power over both Raw and SmackDown, John Laurinaitis stirred up serious controversy when he reintroduced the unpredictable Brock Lesnar to WWE rings. Promoted as the new face of the company by the General Manager, the former MMA fighter went on to nearly end John Cena’s career at WWE Extreme Rules before quitting WWE and then threatening to sue for millions.

As if Mr. Laurinaitis hadn’t created enough of a quagmire, the executive then recruited the dangerous Lord Tensai and his follower, Sakamoto, to aid him in a vicious attack on Cena the night after the Superstar’s showdown with Lesnar. After ruthlessly targeting the Cenation’s leader’s injured arm, a crazed Laurinaitis announced that he would meet Cena one-on-one at WWE Over the Limit.

It may have been the most baffling managerial decision since Mr. McMahon orchestrated the kidnapping of his own daughter during WWE’s “Attitude Era.” A suit-and-tie guy willingly stepping into the ring with a former 10-time WWE Champion? It was madness. Laurinaitis may have once been a respected grappler in the hardnosed world of Japanese professional wrestling, but that was more than a decade ago. Did the executive really think he could hold his own against a man who just stood toe to toe with Brock Lesnar and won?

As it turns out, he did. Well, he did until WWE’s Board of Directors stepped in. Decreeing that not only would John Laurinaitis be fired if he lost the match, but any contracted Superstar who interfered in the bout would also be terminated, the committee stacked the deck against the already in-over-his-head GM.

Clearly lacking confidence after the Board rejected his last minute plea to reverse at least one of the stipulations, (FULL STORY) Laurinaitis sulked to the ring like a man headed down the green mile. If the self-proclaimed Mr. Excitement wasn’t such a conniving egomaniac, the WWE fans may have felt sorry for him. Instead, they cheered John Cena on as he picked apart Mr. Laurinaitis in a bout that resembled more of a televised mugging than a sports-entertainment showdown.

Cena took slow pleasure in manhandling the executive who orchestrated a vicious attack on him as he dumped a garbage can over Big Johnny’s head, doused him with a fire extinguisher, and locked him in the STF for 10-second bursts of brutality. When Laurinaitis briefly mounted a comeback by grabbing a steel chair, he paid the price when Cena drove the hunk of metal right into his red face.

The General Manager’s night only got worse when the man he fired on Monday night — Big Show — suddenly appeared among the WWE fans in the PNC Arena and dragged a retreating Laurinaitis back to the squared circle by his neck. Surrounded on both sides by the Cenation leader and The World’s Largest Athlete, the executive was clearly done for. And then it happened.

With Laurinaitis propped on Cena’s shoulders, only moments away from feeling the AA, Big Show drove his Thor’s hammer of a fist directly into Cena’s jaw. It was the last thing the WWE Universe expected to see from the giant who was humiliated by the GM, but there was no mistaking what had happened. The World’s Largest Athlete deliberately K.O.’d the Cenation leader and saved John Laurinaitis' career. And since Show wasn't a contracted Superstar, there was nothing WWE's Board of Directors could do about it.

Was the attack a gutsy move by Big Show, done deliberately to save his own career? Or was it part of a beautifully constructed plot, pieced together by Mr. Laurinaitis and his sharp advisers in David Otunga and Eve? Whatever it was, there will be hell to pay when John Cena arrives on Raw.

After RAW went off air

After RAW went off the air, John Cena left the ring and went to the back.

The dark match was up next featuring CM Punk defending the WWE Championship against Chris Jericho. Punk defeated Jericho clean with the GTS.

Cena was then back out, and he teamed with Sheamus and Randy Orton to defeat Lord Tensai, Dolph Ziggler and Kane after Cena pinned Ziggler. After the match, all the faces hit their finishers on Ziggler.

When John Laurinaitis called John Cena and his WWE Universe supporters "losers," Cena emerged to give the GM an earful. As he analyzed Laurinaitis’ achievements in his backstabbing rise to GM, Cena concluded the GM is nothing but a loser himself.

After riling the WWE Universe up about the potential beating coming to the GM at Over the Limit, the GM’s Executive Administrator Eve came to the ring with a letter in her hand.

But before the GM could read the letter, Cena ripped it from his hands to reveal some shocking stipulations directly from the WWE Board of Directors:

“Your match with Mr. Cena will be one-on-one. There will be no special guest referee. No one is allowed at ringside. The only way to win is by pinfall or submission. Any Superstar who interferes in the match will be immediately terminated … Should you, Mr. Laurinaitis, lose this match to John Cena, then you will be officially terminated.”

With the stunning news, the WWE Universe exploded in approval. Then, when Cena questioned what major announcement the GM was reported to be making that would change the future of WWE, the GM slapped Cena and walked out of the ring and up the ramp.

How will Cena respond when he goes one-on-one with Laurinaitis this Sunday? (MATCH PREVIEW)

Power 25 [May 25,2012]

1 John Cena
Appearing live via satellite on Raw, John Cena updated the WWE Universe about his arm injury. Although a group of doctors strongly recommended he not compete for the next couple of months, Cena was adamant about ignoring their advice and fully plans to face John Laurinaitis at WWE Over the Limit.
As each week goes by, it seems more and more members of the WWE Universe have had enough of Raw and SmackDown General Manager John Laurinaitis. Could Cena win back the love of some of his past supporters at Over the Limit if he can beat the GM?

10 instances of Superstars going Over the Limit

Nexus attacks

Long before Daniel Bryan’s “Yes!” reverberated through arenas or Wade Barrett set out on his “barrage,” the Superstars previously known best as NXT Season 1 rookies established themselves as the original Nexus by viciously assaulting John Cena during his match against CM Punk on the June 7, 2010, edition of Raw.
The incident was one of those rare examples when the Raw broadcast appeared to come completely off its hinges. The fact that eight relative unknowns (including current Superstars Justin Gabriel and Darren Young, to name a few) would team up to go after WWE’s alpha dog was surprising enough. Even more startling was that their ambush didn’t end with Cena.
Then under the guidance of Barrett, The Nexus members took out their anger on everyone who was within swinging distance. They assaulted commentators Jerry “The King” Lawler and Matt Striker, as well as tore up the ring, trashed the broadcast tables and broke the protective barriers around ringside.

By the time Nexus ultimately disbanded in 2011, the group had inflicted its wrath on countless occasions. Still, no other incident quite compares to their jumping Cena on Raw.

Eight Man Tag Team Match for June 11th edition of RAW

Eight-man tag action with John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Lord Tensai, Kane, Alberto Del Rio and Daniel Bryan is being advertised for the next three-hour RAW Supershow on June 11th from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

Cody Rhodes: What He Has Learned From John Cena

Learning from John Cena:
“I spent a year driving Cena around when I was on the Raw brand. The goal was to learn a lot about him, what he does in the ring, how he has gotten where he has gotten, but also to learn a lot about merchandising and marketing, pretty much all the things he does. And I’d say I learned a great deal on what it takes outside of the ring. He’s noted as being one of the most hard-working people in entertainment, and he is. If you want his job, you have to work as hard as he does. And it is much easier said than done.”

10 finisher combos

Trifecta name: “Iconic Annihilation”

Every competitor that steps into a WWE ring arrives with a repertoire designed to weaken an opponent to the point where they are vulnerable to a knockout blow. The eras may change and the memories of past Superstars may fade, but the recipe remains the same.
To demonstrate the timeless quality of Superstar finishers, try this example of “Iconic Annihilation” on for size. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin leads off by showing some attitude to his opponent with a Stunner, while John Cena follows the notion with his own Attitude Adjustment. The momentum from their maneuvers would then turn back the clock as Hulk Hogan arrives to launch his signature leg drop on their lifeless foe.

Superstars Assemble: WWE's Super Teams

Team WWE (2010)
Following the first season of WWE NXT, Wade Barrett immediately formed The Nexus with his fellow Rookies, and took WWE by storm with a brazen attack on John Cena. Daniel Bryan, one of the group’s members, felt remorse for the assault and was unceremoniously dismissed. For more than two months, The Nexus made their presence felt throughout WWE, complaining about the treatment they received on NXT and focusing their attacks on Cena. After refusing offers to join the group, Cena formed a super team of WWE’s best who had all been victims of The Nexus – Edge, Chris Jericho, John Morrison, R-Truth, The Great Khali and WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. Team WWE was set to face off with The Nexus in a massive Elimination Match at SummerSlam, but the former Rookies eliminated Khali from the equation. Seemingly down a Superstar, John Cena revealed that the final member of Team WWE was none other than the returning Bryan. The contest came down to the two leaders, John Cena and Wade Barrett, who submitted to Cena’s STF – a critical win that halted The Nexus’ momentum in WWE. (WATCH)

Power 25 [May 5,2012]

1 John Cena

John Cena may have looked the worse for wear after his classic battle against a ferocious Brock Lesnar Sunday night at WWE Extreme Rules, but at the end of the night, the Cenation Leader came away with one of the most impressive wins in WWE history.

Bloodied and battered, Cena dug deep and somehow managed to overcome Lesnar’s dominance in what was unquestionably one of the most brutal matches the WWE Universe has ever witnessed. It is the toughness and heart displayed by Cena that catapults him to the No. 1 spot this week — an honor that the Cenation Commander-in-Chief absolutely deserves.

WWE Over the Limit 2012 preview

John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis

Before John Cena went to war with Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules, he accused Raw and SmackDown General Manager John Laurinaitis of trying to put him "out of business" by bringing Brock back to WWE.

Now, it looks like the power-hungry GM wants to personally eradicate Cena from WWE.

Still nursing the wounds from his punishing clash with Brock, the Cenation leader was asked to meet Laurinaitis in the ring on Raw SuperShow for a face-to-face talk, in which the GM would reveal who Cena's opponent at WWE Over the Limit would be. At first, it appeared that Lord Tensai was Laurinaitis' hand-picked Superstar, but following an unbelievable 3-on-1 assault, the choice became brutally clear: Laurinaitis will be the man who goes one-on-one with Cena on May 20.

On repeated occasions since WrestleMania XXVIII, Laurinaitis made it known which Superstar he believes represents the future of WWE, and it's definitely not Cena. The Raw and SmackDown General Manager proved he's willing to do whatever it takes to keep Brock happy by agreeing to the outrageous contract demands laid out by the behemoth prior to Extreme Rules.

Against all odds, Cena overcame the seemingly-unstoppable Lesnar in an Extreme Rules Match, but it still wasn't enough to convince Laurinaitis that it's the 10-time WWE Champion, not Brock, who rightfully deserves to be called the "face of WWE." Then, in a shocking confrontation on Raw SuperShow, Laurinaitis made his boldest power play yet, attacking and mocking Cena while his left arm was still healing.

Cena isn't the first Superstar to tangle with arguably the most polarizing figure in WWE. It was just a few months ago when WWE Champion CM Punk had it out with Laurinaitis, even going so far as to knock him out with the Go To Sleep on the Jan. 23 edition of Raw SuperShow. However, Laurinaitis didn't let his scuffles with Punk derail his quest to remain the dominant decision-making force on WWE programming, and he later took control of SmackDown in addition to Raw with a resounding victory over Team Teddy at WrestleMania.

At WWE Over the Limit, just three weeks will have passed since Cena's savage battle against Lesnar at Extreme Rules. Will the Cenation leader be able to recover in time for his collision with the Raw and SmackDown GM? Or can Laurinaitis pull off an upset and break Cena's spirit coming off one of the biggest victories of his career? Find out at Over the Limit on Sunday, May 20, live on pay-per-view.

John Cena's Dream Machines episode

- The episode of SyFy's Dream Machines with John Cena will air next Tuesday, May 8th at 10pm. A replay will be shown next Friday, May 11th at 10pm following SmackDown.

John Laurinaitis ambushed John Cena, revealed that he will face him at WWE Over the Limit

With his left arm wrapped in a sling, John Cena addressed the WWE Universe and recounted his grueling Extreme Rules Match against Brock Lesnar. Raw and SmackDown GM John Laurinaitis told Cena that he should be thanking him for "motivating" the Cenation leader to perform to his maximum potential. Irked by Laurinaitis' show of ego, Cena then fired back by hurling a slew of insults at the GM. (PHOTOS | VIDEO)

As Laurinaitis was about to reveal Cena's opponent for WWE Over the Limit, Lord Tensai's music hit and Cena soon found himself surrounded by both the Japanese warrior and his manager, Sakamoto.

Suddenly, Laurinaitis ambushed Cena from behind and whacked him in the back of the head with the microphone. Both Sakamoto and Tensai followed with shots of their own on the Cenation leader as Laurinaitis shocked the WWE Universe by revealing that he will be the man who faces Cena at WWE Over the Limit. (MATCH PREVIEW)

While Tensai held Cena's injured arm across the ring steps, Laurinaitis stomped on it and slammed a steel chair on the exposed limb. Finally, Laurinaitis mocked Cena with his "You can't see me" signature hand gesture in the center of the ring as the Dayton, Ohio, crowd let loose with boos.
